Kevin M. Foy is a member of the MultiModal Systems Practice within Oliver Wyman’s Surface Transportation Group.  The MultiModal Practice is focused on software development and consulting for improving the operations and general performance of railroads and other transportation companies.  Kevin manages marketing for the Surface Transportation Group and also oversees sales planning, account management and customer support for the MultiRail products.  With over 27 years of experience in the application of information technology to transportation and logistics, Kevin was formerly a member of the senior management team for MultiModal Applied Systems, which was acquired by Oliver Wyman in early 2006.  Kevin headed the software implementation project teams at Vale/CVRD (Brazil), Pacific National (Australia), SEPTA (Philadelphia), Amtrak (USA), GO Transit (Toronto), Metra (Chicago), AMT Montreal, Tri-Rail (Miami), and Metrolink (Los Angeles).  He has also been a member of project  teams at Ferromex (Mexico), KTZ (Kazakhstan), CSX (USA), SNCF (France), Trenitalia (Italy), Transnet (South Africa), Canadian Pacific and Indian Railways.  He began his career in the ocean transportation business and in 1984 he joined the Journal of Commerce in its Transax Data on-line information service group.  In 1992, Kevin joined DXI, Inc. (now Descartes Systems Group) as Vice President of Marketing and Sales, where he developed and managed the product management, operations, sales, marketing, and customer support groups.  He joined MultiModal Applied Systems in 1998.
