Gilles Roucolle
Gille Roucolle is a Partner of Oliver Wyman, based both in Paris, France and Montreal, Canada. Gilles serves as the head of the firm’s global surface transportation practice and has conducted numerous assignments on a global basis in all transport sectors, including for North American Class I and European freight and passenger railroads; trucking, courier and logistics companies; rail and truck suppliers; liner shipping and ports; and airlines, airports, reservation systems, and travel distributors. Gilles is a regular speaker at logistics and transportation conferences, including the Credit-Suisse First Boston Logistics and i2Planet conferences and those held by the Canadian Supply Chain and Logistics Association and the Intermodal Association – North America. He is also a panel expert on transportation matters for the Canadian Broadcasting Company and several other television and radio channels. Gilles holds an M.B.A. from INSEAD, France and graduated with first-class honors as an engineer (M.Sc.) from the Ecole Centrale des Arts et Manufactures in Paris, where he also taught applied mathematics. In addition, he holds a degree in economics from the University of Paris-Sorbonne.
